 MS Dhoni has won numerous prestigious awards, most notably India's highest sporting honor, the Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna (2008), and top civilian honors, including the Padma Shri (2009) and Padma Bhushan (2018). He was also named the ICC ODI Player of the Year in 2008 and 2009, becoming the first player to win it twice.
